The Journal of Scientific Engineering and Technology (JSET) welcomes high-quality, original research articles that contribute significantly to the advancement of scientific engineering and technological innovation. Authors are requested to carefully read and follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth submission, review, and publication process.
JSET publishes original research, review papers, and technical articles in, but not limited to, the following areas:

JSET accepts the following types of submissions:
Original Research Articles

All submissions must present original work and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal’s submission system or official email.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all listed authors approve the submission.
A cover letter should accompany the manuscript, clearly stating the contribution and novelty of the work.
Manuscripts must be written in clear and grammatically correct English.
Either British or American English may be used consistently throughout the manuscript.
Manuscripts should be prepared in MS Word (.doc or .docx) format.
Figures may be embedded in the manuscript and also submitted separately if required.
Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:
Title of the manuscript (concise and informative)
Full names of all authors
Affiliations (department, institution, country)
Corresponding author’s email address
Maximum 200–250 words
Should briefly describe the purpose, methodology, results, and conclusions
Avoid references and abbreviations
Provide 4–6 keywords
Avoid repeating words already used in the title
The main text should generally include:
Introduction
Literature Review (if applicable)
Methodology / Materials and Methods
Results
Discussion
Conclusion and Future Work
Font: Times New Roman
Font Size: 12 pt
Line Spacing: 1.5
Page Size: A4
Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
Page numbers should be included
Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively (Figure 1, Table 1, etc.)
Each figure and table must have a clear caption
Figures should be of high resolution (minimum 300 dpi)
Tables should be editable, not embedded as images
All figures and tables must be cited in the text
Equations should be numbered consecutively and aligned to the right
Use standard mathematical symbols
SI units must be used throughout the manuscript
JSET follows the IEEE referencing style (you can change this if you want APA/Harvard).
References should be cited in the text using numbered brackets [1], [2], etc.
The reference list should appear at the end of the manuscript in numerical order.
Example:
[1] A. Author, “Title of the paper,” Journal Name, vol. x, no. x, pp. xx–xx, year.
Submitted manuscripts must be original and unpublished.
All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software.
Manuscripts with plagiarism above acceptable limits will be rejected immediately.
Self-plagiarism is also not permitted.
Authors must ensure:
Proper citation of all sources
Ethical approval for studies involving human participants or animals
Disclosure of any conflicts of interest
No data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation
Authorship should be limited to individuals who:
Made substantial contributions to the research
Participated in drafting or revising the manuscript
Approved the final version
Agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work
All authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research. If no conflict exists, authors should state:
“The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
Upon acceptance, authors may be required to transfer copyright to the journal.
Authors retain the right to use their work for academic and non-commercial purposes with proper citation.
JSET may provide open access to published articles to promote the global dissemination of scientific knowledge.
Initial editorial screening: 1–2 weeks
Peer review process: 3–6 weeks
Revision period: As per editor’s decision
Publication after acceptance: Within the scheduled issue
If applicable, details regarding publication or processing charges will be clearly communicated to authors upon acceptance.
Authors may request withdrawal before acceptance.
Published articles may be retracted in cases of serious ethical violations.
